Strong geometric motifs, stylised ornamental details, bold warm colours and gold enrichments – our Rondo Collection is a reflection of Gustav Klimt’s unique approach to Art Nouveau.
The Rondo pieces are predominantly inspired by Klimt’s elaborate Palais Stoclet mosaic friezes and in particular the depiction of “The Fulfilment”, which features a couple embracing. The collection reflects the colourful round shapes on the couples clothing and the flowers on the ground. Employing a variety of materials such as enamel, glass, ceramics, metals, coral, mother-of-pearl and semi-precious jewels, Klimt’s frieze is a masterpiece of vivid colours and geometric shapes.
Materials: The Rondo Ring is cast in bronze with 24kt gold plating and a hand-cast glass element in shades of white.
