Delivery and Charges
Our delivery charges are as follows:
First Class Signed For: £4.50
Special Delivery: £8
FREE First Class Signed For delivery when you spend over £150
European delivery charge: £12
Rest of World delivery charge: £15
FREE International Delivery when you spend over £200
Please note that these charges only include delivery; therefore non-EU and non-UK customers will be responsible for any import duties and local taxes.
We aim to ship all products within 2 working days of receiving an order. In the UK, we use a first class signed for or special delivery service. Overseas, we use a tracked and signed service where possible (please note that a number of countries only allow for a signed for service), and we will send you confirmation along with tracking details as soon as your item(s) are dispatched. If your order is particularly urgent or you require it in time for a certain date or special occasion, please let us know in the instructions box at checkout and we will do our best to accommodate this.
All deliveries require a signature on accepting. If you or someone on your behalf is not able to sign for the delivery the carrier will leave a card to arrange a re-delivery at a suitable time. Cards can only be left where there is access to secure post boxes, therefore some shared accommodation and apartment buildings will not receive delivery cards as a matter of security.
We are unable to redirect orders once they have been dispatched. If delivery proves impossible or impractical on 2 or more occasions we may need to cancel your order and deduct the original delivery charges from the refund; however we will try to contact you in this case to arrange for a new order to be placed if required.
We are not accountable for any damages or loss to your goods once they are dispatched, as they will become your property.
Contor Aichinger insures each purchase during the time it is in transit until it is delivered to your specified delivery address. We require a signature for any goods delivered, at which point responsibility for your purchased goods passes to you. If you have specified a recipient who is not you for delivery purposes (for example as a gift) then you accept that evidence of a signature by them (or at that delivery address) is evidence of delivery and fulfilment by Contor Aichinger.
